Versant, the leader in developing and sustaining professional nursing organizations is taking another step toward closing the preparedness gap between nursing school education and safe, effective nursing practice.
As of July 1, 2010, Versant’s Curriculum Version 6.0 will be used exclusively by the more than 80 hospitals that offer the Versant RN Residency as a standard of practice to transition new graduate nurses to the profession.Versant’s Curriculum Version 6.0 incorporates the latest evidenced-based mandates and recommendations from Joint Commission, QSEN, CCNE, NDNQI, HCAHPS, NEC / NAB as well as evidence-driven revisions by Versant’s Business and Analytics Team using 10 years of longitudinal data on new graduate nurses in the VND (Versant National Database).
