RN Residency Curriculum - Expert Nurse Consultant
About this job
Versant® is seeking expert nurse consultants to partner with us to create or review the following residency curriculum topics: Informatics, Bariatrics, End of Life Care and Palliative Care. Expert nurse consultant criteria includes:
- Professional Competence. Individuals should be highly skilled in their position and should be familiar with current clinical developments including professional practice standards in the identified field. Curriculum vitae’s are reviewed on a case by case basis for demonstration of competence.
- Education. Minimum educational level is a BSN with MSN preferred. Certification in the specialty area of practice and/or membership in the specialty organization are preferred.
- Effective Communication. Experts should be articulate in their written and verbal communication including the ability to explain content and project updates in a precise and accurate way.
- Commitment. Experts must be able to devote the needed time to complete the curriculum project in accordance with identified timelines and meeting expectations of the project.
- Technology. Experts must be competent in the use and navigation of PowerPoint and/or Word documents with the use of edit mode and track changes where available and relevant.
- Instructional Design Strategies. Experts should be familiar with curriculum design principles and able to identify/validate that the correct instructional methods are utilized for the content being discussed. Experience in using technology in teaching and learning is optimal.
- Citations and Copyright Permissions. Experts must be proficient in correct referencing/citations according to the APA guidelines and Versant style guide.
